Festival Nadeshicon 2026: Dive into Japanese Music
From April 10 to 12, 2026, the Québec Convention Centre will host the 12th edition of the Nadeshicon Festival, organized by the Quebec Animé Club. This year, the festival will spotlight Japanese Music, exploring genres such as J-pop, J-rock, Visual Kei, and many more.
An Inspiring Theme: Japanese Music
After revisiting this theme in 2012, Nadeshicon returns in 2026 with a program dedicated to the richness and diversity of Japanese music. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to experience live performances, interactive workshops, and conferences on the impact of music in Japanese culture.
Guest of Honor: MADKID
The J-pop group MADKID will be the guest of honor for this edition. Formed by five talented members – YOU-TA, SHIN, LIN, KAZUKI and YUKI – MADKID is known for its flagship songs such as “RISE” and “FAITH,” notably used in the anime series The Rising of The Shield Hero. Their concert promises to be a highlight of the festival, offering fans a unique musical experience in Québec.
